Hair Styles & Updo’s

For my free inquiry project, I have decided to explore different hairstyles and how to learn to do them on myself. I plan to use tutorial videos from YouTube, TikTok, and Instagram, as well as potentially learning how to from a friend. For reference, I have medium length straight hair just past my shoulders. Until recently, the only ‘hairstyles’ I could do were hair down, a ponytail, a messy bun, and a basic three strand braid. It is important to me to have a wide selection of fun and eye catching hairstyles because I remember as a child how much I enjoyed seeing my teachers come to school with funky hair. It made school more fun, which is what I plan to do! At this point I am unsure how many hairstyles I will be able to learn, but my base goal is one new hairstyles each week. If possible, I will attach each video tutorial I follow as well as a photo of my attempt at completing the hairstyle!
